Art along the Lima River, Fall 2018

Today I went exploring the riverbanks of Darque, just across the Lima River from Viana. Not only were the perspectives of Viana's historic quarter and of Santa Luzia impressive but so was the abstract art collection I found down by the port. I call it a collection because of the number of photographs I was able to take of the paintings done by fishermen who have painted beyond the surface of the boats. Found art. Most inspiring!
