I looked up and there it was, a perfect abstraction of an ionic capital and column. Venturi would have included it in his book.

My choice of green to inhance its strength was solely based upon

a color symbol of growth. I was travelling extensively around northern Spain and architectural projects being signed by the likes of Ghery and Foster introduced a new aesthetic that triggered resistance.
